The classic “come-back” story of the South Seas Island Resort was recently featured in Resort & Recreation Magazine. Trip Schneck, the president of TIG Global outlined the steps the South Seas Island Resort took to rebuild its physical property and customer base that was damaged by Hurricane Charley in 2004.
TIG Global was hired to redesign the South Seas Island Resort’s website to showcase its newly refurbished amenities and welcome back long-time visitors with the message that the Resort was open again and better than ever. An aggressive online marketing campaign, consisting of paid search marketing, strategic linking, and email marketing, was also created to coincide with the new site launch. From April 2007 to May 2008, South Seas Island Resort’s year-over-year online bookings increased 98% and the Resort was named one of the “Top 10 Resorts for Families” in Parent Magazine.
